Your advantages with ergonomic Care

I have lived in Munich for 50 years, and for 49 years I have tried out all kinds of medical supply stores. And finally I landed at Ergonomic Care. I recently picked up my third order: two pairs of insoles, handmade. They fit perfectly and provide far better support than their predecessors.

You can come to our medical supply store at Sendlinger Tor at any time. Thanks to our medical supply store concept with integrated workshop on more than 400sqm, a technician, master craftsman or our trained specialist staff always has time for you to give you the best possible advice.

Of course, you should not get any discomfort from our insoles, but it can still happen occasionally. Especially with long-standing complaints, which were not treated, it can sometimes take some time until an improvement occurs. We therefore advise you to start slowly with the wearing time of the orthopedic insoles and to extend it bit by bit. Give your body some time to get used to the orthopedic insoles. We are of course always there for you to change the insoles if necessary. Often just a small adjustment is enough so that you can wear the orthopedic insoles all day long without any problems and enjoy your everyday life. You do not need an appointment for this.

Normally, a prescription is valid for up to 28 days with most health insurance companies. If you are not sure, please contact us.

Most health insurance companies cover up to two insoles per calendar year. If you are privately insured, it is best to ask your insurance company how many pairs of insoles are covered.

The exact durability of an insole depends on your usage behavior. The particularly high-quality insoles last at least 6 months, so that you are optimally supplied with two insoles throughout the year.

Proprioceptive / sensorimotor insoles are thinner than conventional insoles. The big difference, however, are the pads, which go steeply upwards like mountains. Through this type of insole, we specifically affect the depth perception of your body. With the help of the pads, also called spots, muscles are specifically relaxed or weakened foot muscles are actively rebuilt.

Sensorimotor insoles act specifically on your muscles and tendons on the foot. This stimulates the proprioception of your own body, and thus the depth perception in your brain will be activated. This can relieve muscle tension as well as muscle imbalances in your foot. Through sensorimotor insoles, we help your body heal itself. We don't just fix your symptoms, but get to the root of the pain.

Most health insurance companies do not list sensorimotor insoles in their list of medical aids and often refer to the lack of studies on the effectiveness of sensorimotor insoles to justify a rejection. However, exceptions are increasingly occurring, which is why submitting a cost estimate makes absolute sense. We will be happy to do this work for you so that you do not have to deal with it. We will be happy to advise you on your possibilities of having sensomotoric insoles paid for by your health insurance during a visit to our medical supply store in Munich.

Of course, you can also wear orthopedic insoles during sports. Sports such as jogging, soccer or golf put increased stress on your feet. Here, the insoles support you optimally, so that you are also optimally supported when your muscles become tired. That is why we also offer insoles specially made for sports with pads and foams specifically developed for this purpose. Just ask us about it at your next visit, we will be happy to advise you!
