The medi M4s OA hard frame orthosis allows relief of the knee joint due to the varus and valgus adjustment joints close to the joint.

  • Relief of the lateral or medial compartment through 3-point relief principle
  • Stabilization of the knee joint through 4-point stabilization principle
  • Individually and easily adjustable varus / valgus relief via adjustment joints close to the joint
  • Anatomically pre-shaped and as torsionally rigid as possible frame geometry.
  • Flat and lightweight frame design for the most comfortable wearing of the orthosis under clothing.
  • Numbered straps for easy and safe handling
  • The movable strap eyelets adapt flexibly during movement and support the correct fit of the orthosis on the leg.
  • Limitation options: - Extension: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45° - Flexion: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90° - Immobilization: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°

All indications that require relief of a compartment according to the 3-point principle, physiological guidance and stabilization according to the 4-point principle and, if necessary, restriction of movement of the knee joint, such as:

  • Severe medial or lateral gonarthrosis (at least grade III) in conjunction with complex ligament instability
  • Before HTO (repositioning osteotomy) for unicompartmental relief in severe gonarthrosis (brace test).
  • After cartilage surgery or cartilage reconstruction
  • After meniscus surgery
